My thoughts on Tank Bigsby:
Burst onto the scene as a freshman during the 2020 season at Auburn University. He rushed for 834 yds at a massive 6.0 yards per carry on an Auburn Offense that struggled all year, with an offensive line that was sub-par. This came entirely against SEC defenses.
During his freshman season, Tank Bigsby delivered on his name; running fast and fierce, but smart as well. He was able to quickly identify holes, when they existed, and move his body into position to accelerate through them. He also demonstrated strength, using some pretty gnarly stiff arms and averaging a solid 3.51 yards after contact.
Unfortunately, the Auburn offense this season was quite vanilla and puttered through the year. Tank ran very few routes and was featured in few designated pass plays to him. Tank managed to pull in 11/13 of his targets, an impressive 85%, but certainly not enough to go on. There is great hope that the new coaching staff brings Bigsby more opportunity to shine, though.
